We are happy to announce the 30th International Congress of Clinical Neurophysiology (ICCN2014) of the International Federation of Clinical Neurophysiology (IFCN).
The ICCN2014 will take place in Berlin from 20 – 23 March, 2014 and will be organized in conjunction with the Annual Meeting of the German Society for Clinical Neurophysiology and Functional Imaging (DGKN) scheduled from 19 – 22 March, 2014.
The vibrant city of Berlin is an ideal venue in the heart of Europe and can be easily reached by airplane, train and car. Berlin as the capital of Germany, harbors many famous museums and galleries as well as concert halls, theaters, restaurants and pubs and is the traditional link between the East- and West-European culture the congress venue, the Estrel Hotel, has hosted many large international meetings and is situated close to the center of Berlin. It offers sufficient space for plenaries, symposia, workshops, seminars and courses. Accommodation is available in the Estrel and many other hotels in the surroundings and the city center in all categories.
Modern Clinical Neurophysiology is changing. The ICCN2014 will represent the classical methods such as EMG, NCS, EEG and evoked potentials in scientific sessions and educational courses, as well as advanced clinical neurophysiology using event related brain potentials and fMRI or modern therapeutic or interventional approaches such as invasive and non invasive brain stimulation. It will also cover closely linked imaging methods such as ultrasound, especially high resolution ultrasound and MRI of muscle, nerve and brain. ICCN2014 shall also show how these methods are embedded in the clinical context studying neuromuscular disorders, epilepsy, sleep, pain, cognitive and central movement disorders, brain plasticity in stroke, neurodegeneration and neuroinflammation and others.
The ICCN2014 registration fee will be fair and we will provide a special registration fee for students. The IFCN will offer fellowships for a significant number of selected presenting participants.
